FRANCES  C.  MACK

I'm a freelance multimedia journalist, specializing in science, environment and health reporting. I leverage creative communication tools and storytelling to make the intricacies of our world accessible and engaging. ​I have writing, editing, photography, videography, animation, marketing and design experience. My work has been published by the American Journal of Undergraduate Research, Planet Forward, Chicago Health, PBS and the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. I’m also a senior communications specialist at Corning Incorporated, a fortune 500 material science corporation in Upstate New York. Day-to-day, I write company-wide messages for the Health Services and Global Security functions. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University Medill. I graduated from Lehigh University in 2024 with high honors and a Bachelor of Arts in scientific and environmental journalism with minors in museum studies and environmental science.​​​
